Grab your chance to get in touch with the innovative genius inside of you and contribute to the creation and the rise of 3D printers!
This creative company is in the midst of discovering what happens when you are instantly successful and grow really fast, really quickly. Six years ago, three students sat down to brainstorm business ideas. Fast forward to now, and the company they founded is internationally successful, employs more than 250 people and has offices in the Netherlands and the USA!
Despite this impressive feat, their informal origins ensured that the company managed to stay young, flexible and innovative in spirit. It shows not only in their field of expertise but also in the people that work there. When they started the company, the founders opted to hire their peers instead of employing more senior people ensuring the culture of the company remained as casual as ever.
This company is defined by their innovation, youth and flexibility. One example: they are big fans of open-sourcing and they created their own 3D printing software, which they routinely update with all sorts of cool features.
To maintain the current level of success, however, the company needs to be streamlined. Their IT department will be smoothed out, and that’s where you come in.
You will be active in a Scrum environment in collaboration with developers, UX designers and other software testers, creating the best 3D printing software possible. Writing test cases, defining acceptance criteria and executing test will be part of your daily duties. You will also monitor functional software specifications before they’ll be developed, catching errors right on time.
Who you are
To get this cool job you need to speak English fluently, but you also need to have experience in Dutch software development. Communicatively, you need to be strong and you need to have attention to detail. You are passionate about your work, and it shows in the way you take initiative and come up with creative solutions. You are not set in your ways and are not afraid to be a trailblazer.
In addition to that you:
Have experience with test design techniques
Have experience with JIRA or similar defect-reporting tools
Are certified in TMap or ISTQB
Have experience with Linux
Focus on the special
These are the standard conditions:
A generous salary
24 vacation days
But let’s not focus on the standard. What’s special is the fact that you get to work with awesome 3D printers every day! Not to mention, working in a team as open, internationally-oriented and no nonsense as this one will count as it’s own reward, trust us.
